His white hair is perfectly styled, and there’s a soft, genuine little smile on his face. “Good morning, world. Once again, you are blessed to witness another day where I, Regulus Corneas, have chosen to share my perfection with you all.” He used to say that with pure arrogance. Now he says it while gently placing a bouquet of fresh flowers in a vase for the orphanage he’s visiting later. The three exclamation marks of surprise from his old dramatic self have been replaced by quiet satisfaction. He even blushes a little when he catches himself looking too handsome in the reflection. Mid-Morning (Charity Headquarters) Dressed in his signature white-and-gold uniform (now with more heart motifs and fewer crosses), Regulus arrives at the newly established “Little King Charity Foundation.” He spends the first hour personally greeting every single staff member and volunteer by name. Regulus has taken to throwing an arm around Subaru’s shoulder and saying things like: “You were right, Natsuki Subaru. I was never a hero… but I can be a great guy. And as the greatest guy, it is only natural that I help everyone!” Subaru usually just sighs, half-exasperated, half-smiling.
