@aguyandagolden: *Chai was adopted!*Meet Chai. And believe it or not, Chai marks the 150th episode of Shelter Dog Saturday… you read that right, 150. For the past 4 years, we’ve been taking adoptable dogs out of shelters to help them find homes…and every single dog featured has been adopted shortly after their video was posted. Seeing other creators now visiting shelters and helping dogs get adopted too has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. We don’t do this for awards, recognition, or praise. Our goal has always been simple…help dogs in need. We’d do it whether we had 4 followers or now 26 million. Now let me tell you about Chai… honestly, one of the best dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure of taking out during this series. Shelter staff mentioned she can be slow to warm up to men due to what they believe may have been past abuse, but she walked right up to me and was an absolute sweetheart from the start. She loved playing fetch, did amazing in the car, walked great on a leash, and had such a calm, loving personality. Truly just one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever featured. Chai has been in the shelter for two months, and we would love nothing more than to see her in a loving home by the end of this weekend. Right now @Greenville Humane Society is over capacity and facing a critical overcrowding crisis. If you’ve been thinking about adopting or fostering, now is the time.
