i dont hate oikawa its a case of he was and still is immature for hating kageyama, because kageyama did nothing and instead he assisted in kageyamas becoming of the kimg (yes i know him grandpas death was the main reason) but he wasnt a good senpai and that is a fact

they both are same.. both love volleyball so much, both obsessed being a great setter, and that time, both are still practice and develop their skill.. maybe Kageyama impressed by oikawa and nothing's wrong with that, but I think oikawa feels upset because Kageyama will be his biggest rival and he think Kageyama born with that talent while him need to practice a lot to get to that level

i started watching Haikyuu ehen I was 14/15 yo. Back then, I hated Oikawa. I rewatched the anime from ep 1 whenever a new movie, ova, season came. Gradually, I aged and I came to understand Oikawa's feelings.

It's the same thing as how kageyamas teammates boycotted him. They reacted how anyone would, and oikawa's frustration was the most normal reaction.

At first, i did hate oikawa when i started watching haikyuu i didn't actually understand what was happening but when i watched haikyuu again and again like a 100 times, i actully felt sorry for oikawa huhuu
