Was there a couple of years ago and enjoyed our stay in a new chic cave hotel as well as quality of food and wine at the restaurants we dined in. Lastly, on the morning we were leaving, we exited our hotel and found ourselves in the middle of a movie set created to appear as a two thousand year old market.

Been to Matera and it was an amazing experience. The day was super cloudy and it made for amazing photographs. Our Italian friends father was raised there. It was a very special experience.
