Let’s agree that the transition into a new era was directly connected to the creation of the Internet. For the first time, thousands, millions, and eventually billions of people were able to communicate, share, create, and sell simultaneously - in a way, to live a second life no longer limited by distance. Since the first relatively popular websites appeared, more than 20-30 years have passed. Trends changed, generations changed, but the Internet only became more and more accessible. Today, it’s hard to imagine that most people could live a full life without it. Despite many fears spread by the media at the beginning of the Internet era, the Internet did not become just a landfill for instant pleasure, nor did it replace real life. Instead, it became a powerful extension of reality and a huge boost for human development thanks to accessible information and opportunities that were, at least for a time, close to equal for everyone. The technical side of the Internet’s creation also deserves attention. In an incredibly short period of time - just 30-40 years - billions of computers and phones became connected to this network.
