for people who are curious, they dont take debit or credit cards because people can and will dispute the charges. from there the tow company has to fight to get their money and often times its more expensive than the original tow

an ATM will absolutely accept a credit card, when you get a credit card they give you a separate APR on cash advances and when you pull money out of an ATM with a credit card that's a cash advance

My parents used to own a tow truck company that did work just like this. The reason they accept cash only is because people will do chargebacks on debit and credit cards. People are dicks.

All the people hating on the tow company, I have been all over this country on trips been to Parks hospitals office, buildings all kinds of places , I have never once been towed. When I park somewhere I’m unfamiliar with the first thing I do is look around for any signs to make sure I’m legally park that way I don’t have to worry about the tow company who are just doing their job
