The raw flour taste can conflict with the high fat and sugar content of chocolate. It ends up tasting slightly gummy, and noticeably un-sweetened. You should try it with mochi (glutinous rice flour), tangyuan (also glutinous rice but closer your original concept since it’s meant to be boiled), or fried wonton wrapper for a flakier texture

I would say to cut the chocolates in half, the dough to chocolate ratio is off currently.

People hype up the ones from Din Tai Fung. They have a dark chocolate ganache

The high palm oil in those chocolates just doesn’t work (I’m my opinion).

deep fry them instead looks to soggy a nice crunch on the outside soft chocolate inside would go hard

Add a dipping cream with sea salt. Also recommend a thinner wrap.

My family and I once went to a sushi restaurant where you order the food from an iPad and a robot delivers your food, and there were something along the lines of fried bananas. I wish I was kidding. it tasted good trust

As a baker one of my biggest hits are bengies (plus they are fried not baked) I follow a beavertail recipe and you can top with powdered sugar or whatever you want (like cinnamon and sugar and Nutella) or if u want it to be Canadian u can sell them as bevertails. One regular batch serves like 40 small pastries. Unfortunately not rlly Asian style tho so maybe it doesn’t suit the menu as good as those chocolate dumplings ❤️they look delicious

try it with a thicker chocolate, or add some crunch to it, like some crushed hazelnut inside
