It’s very normal in group settings, when the normal facilitator is replaced. They already have an established relationship with you, try looking into group dynamics/roles and how to deal with them.

Aww, I’m sure they understand. I think it’s just something in breaking the routine that makes some kids feel uncomfortable and act up. It sucks the sub had a rough time but I’m sure she gave grace to those kids
