Tampa seems to have an older cruise crowd for many of the ships I have sailed on out of Tampa. it is by far the easiest port to embark. because of the skyway bridge, only smaller ships can port in Tampa.

It’s a centrum and it can get very lively. We prefer the centrums over the new ships.

Obviously showing my age here, but I was 11 years old when I sailed on a cruise ship built in 1936. The ship was over 50 years old at the time. In comparison, your ship looks like something from a futuristic movie. 😂

We cruised on Song of America, Majesty & Sovereign of the seas in the 80’s which are no longer around. I remember first sailing on Rhapsody and thinking how huge it was compared to those others. Now, I look at the ship and can’t imagine I thought it was huge compared to what we sail on now. 75 and still counting on Royal Caribbean

We sailed GOTS three times.. it’s peaceful.. very few kids.. great service and fantastic dining. This Friday we’re going on OASIS (third time). Love ROYAL no matter what ship. Have a great time guys.. WOOT WOOT!!😊

Tampa gets the worst ships because of the Skyway Bridge. I much prefer taking the drive to Port Canaveral.
