In this economy I don’t let it dip below 3/4, I’m not filling all 36 gallons at once

I got a question for anybody who wants to answer.... if we're supposed to keep our gas tank at a quarter of a tank why are we able to go lower than a quarter of a tank and why not just put the empty mark at a quarter of a tank even though we still have more past that

air doesn't cool anything, what goes through the radiator then?

Sarah Eli Massage :
Then manufacturers should make 1/4 of a tank the empty mark. if they're not going to tell us about this flaw, they need to make it easier to avoid.

WOW! I knew it’s bad to let it get low, I was told you end up with condensation and dirt in the system, but this I did not know!

this just seems like manufacturing decision from engineers who said it looks good on paper. it would make more sense to have it where your fuel pump since in the lowest spot possible. like it would make more sense for where the fuel pump is to actually drop down so that it always has the fuel pump being submerged.

$1,000? I didnt know that. My pump was accessible from my truck throw my backseat. maybe took me under an hour to access just because I had to figure out how to get my seats down, and maybe 45 minutes to switch it out.

that's an expensive tank drop. I got full distributor replacement and tank drop/pump replacement for a little over 600 parts and labor

We were taught that it's better for your car to go all the way to the light. Something about it being better for gas mileage 😅🤷🏼♀️
