. . 🧩 Meibomian gland expression: After IPL, we melt the MGs further (either with iLux, TearCare or OptiPlus Radiofrequency), meibomian gland expression follows and it is a necessary step to unplug and unclog the glands. This manual expression is a very successful procedure because it can be tailored to each gland individually - spending additional time (and applying slightly more force) on specific glands that are more obstructed and require more attention. . .
