I started this new initiative called ‘The Student Takeover Class’, where one student leads an entire class; from music selection to choreography creation to class coordination and teaching! This is a good growth mechanism as it helps them learn how to teach, use the right dance vocabulary in expressing themselves, learn and develop public speaking skills, build their self confidence and competence level, explore their capabilities and creativity and also to help them appreciate dance classes better!
