That should not be your primary vacuum. Your real vacuum needs to plug in. That is for quick messes.

I’ve had my Dyson for 5 years. I only hang it on the charger when it’s dying. Other than that I leave it off. My battery lasts like a week if not more.

Your regular setting will work a lot better if you wash the filter and the intake where stuff comes in. I can hear that yours is having a hard time

Cordless vacuums aren’t meant to be used in max mode 100% of the time. Also, the pre filter looks like it’s extremely dusty or there’s condensation trapped inside it. Either way it needs attention.
