Nah tell the truth! 40 years in offices and always a few awkward ones. I just stayed professional, set clear targets, supportive when mistakes made and help them do the job right. They come around then but will still be difficult to others. I'm ok though 🤣🤣

I find it incredulous that recruiters don’t seam to have found imaginative ways to find the best people for a role. Are the people who remember the answers to these questions really the right person every time ? I might set up a recruitment company actually.

Hi genuine question: why is it better to straight up lie and tell the company what they want to hear than to actually tell them the truth. Why does it matter if i had to work with someone i hate in the past? Why do i have to make it a hypothetical if it happened? I remember being fired in an unfair situation and having to lie about it in order to not look like i was disrespecting the company that fired me when they absolutely disrespected me

Anyone who claims never to have had an example of this is lying. The best thing to do is give an example. Managers need to see experience and examples of how you have over come an actual issue.
