My mom colored my hair when I was in fourth grade, I was excited to have red hair I wanted to be like 80s Cyndi Lauper and my mom delivered. The kicker was my school trying to call it child abuse 😅 I'm so glad we're evolving as a society and realizing hair doesn't have to fall in line of being natural looking. Let kids explore and have fun while they can, life's too darn short not to be creative.

My mom was in a sorority, did all the typical girly things so when I was just like “mommy I wanna dye my hair pink, buy me this MCR t shirt!” She’s like “I know nothing about this, I will learn.” She’s been to like 4 FOB shows with me, I love her so much.

Just did my 13 yr olds hair bright blue and black. She wasn’t expecting the “hell yeah” when she asked. It’s done amazing things for her self confidence!! Plus it looks sick 👌🏽

My dad helped me dye my hair purple in high school. His family hated that he let me do that. He said “who cares she’s not looking for a job rn.” Now I have a job that lets me have colorful hair. He asked me what color I am gonna do next lol.

Oldest daughter has been dying her own hair since she was 12. She’s now a successful hair stylist who specializes in bold colors. This is us and my younger daughter at MCR. I started taking her to ACEN when she was young and she continues to go every year and has amazing costumes for the convention. Always let them express themselves in creative ways!
