Abdulkadir Rahis Thanks APC Leaders, Stakeholders After Winning MMC Reps Ticket Through Direct Primaries The Federal Lawmaker representing Maiduguri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abdulkadir Rahis, has expressed deep appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders, and constituents following his emergence through the just concluded direct primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming general elections within the 15 wards of MMC. The MMC direct primary process was conducted peacefully, transparently, and in an orderly manner, fully in line with the guidelines of INEC and the constitutional provisions of the party, under the supervision of electoral officials and key party stakeholders. In a statement released after the primary election was concluded, the three-term lawmaker described his victory as a strong reflection of the confidence, unity, and trust reposed in his leadership and representation by the APC family and the people of MMC. Rt. Hon. Rahis extended special gratitude to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, for his fatherly guidance, steadfast support, and continued commitment to the growth and political stability of Borno State and the APC. He also appreciated the leader of APC in the state as well as the Governor of Borno State, Prof Babagana Umara Zulum, for his visionary leadership, unwavering encouragement, and dedication to good governance and sustainable development across the state. The lawmaker further thanked Kaka Shehu Lawan for his support, cooperation, and contributions toward strengthening unity within the party and deepening democratic values in MMC and beyond. Rt. Hon. Rahis also expressed profound appreciation to Rt Hon Ali Bukar Dalori, the Deputy National Chairman of APC for his support and commitment toward strengthening the party. He equally appreciated both past and present APC State Executives representing MMC, Local Government party executives, Ward party executives, all the 15 Ward Coordinators, and all card-carrying members of the APC for their steadfast loyalty, prayers, sacrifices, and unwavering support throughout the direct primaries process. He further conveyed special appreciation to Ali Bolori for his cooperation and support toward ensuring unity and progress within the party. Similar appreciation was also extended to members of the primary election committee for their dedication, fairness, and commitment to a peaceful and successful process. He also expressed profound gratitude to the people of Maiduguri Federal Constituency for electing him to the House of Representatives for three consecutive terms. He assured constituents of his continued dedication to effective representation, grassroots development, and people-centered leadership. According to him, if given another mandate, he will consolidate on the achievements already recorded in education, empowerment programmes, healthcare delivery, water supply, youth and women development, security support, and infrastructural development. Rt. Hon. Rahis further called on all seven aspirants who participated in the contest to remain united and work together in the interest of the APC and the overall development of MMC.
