Never had a credit card and don't want one. My bank card can't be used outside my nation (by option) and you can't use more than what is available on the account. And I keep my money in a different account that is not connected to any sort of card. It can only be accessed through the bank via phone or laptop and you need a physical code device and my personal details and codes to use it. I transfer what I need from this account to the "user account" when I need it. In this economy I have to or I'll be broke in no time.
