I don’t get why some people don’t like the ending 🤷🏻♀️the title “Perfect Crown” was never really about a perfect monarchy, it was about the impossible expectations tied to wearing the crown itself. The crown looked beautiful from the outside, powerful even, but behind it was manipulation, sacrifice, loneliness, greed, and people constantly losing themselves for the institution. The series kept showing us that nobody under that system was ever truly free. Not the Queen Mother, not I-an, not anyone connected to the throne. That’s why abolishing the monarchy doesn’t ruin the meaning of the title at all. If anything, it completes it. I-an becoming the last king feels symbolic because for the first time, someone wearing the crown chose to end the cycle instead of preserving it for power. He gave dignity to the monarchy by finally doing what no one before him could do, putting people before the institution itself. And honestly, changing a few rules would never fully fix the problem because the system itself was built on control and image. Sooner or later, another ruler could just undo everything again. Abolishing it was the only way to guarantee actual freedom, not just temporary reform
