We were invited to experience STAY: A Water Experience, an immersive culinary experience inspired by the rhythm and depth of water at @stay_byinimitable Set within the beautiful Muldersdrift area and less than forty minutes from central Johannesburg, it truly feels like an escape from the city. The Stay + Dine experience includes a seven-course tasting menu by renowned chef Andrew Draper, overnight accommodation in one of their luxurious suites, and a full English breakfast served upon check out. Dinner was really exceptional. Each course was thoughtfully prepared with an experiential element throughout the evening. One of our standout favourites was the wagyu and walnut harissa arancini, and the playful dessert was the ideal way to end the evening. There are tailored cocktails available for dinner, which pair beautifully with the menu. A big thank you to chef @foodbyandrewdraper for the amazing culinary experience. There are also so many fun and whimsical aspects woven into the experience that we won’t give away - but they truly make the night feel special and different from anything else in Johannesburg. This time, we stayed in the incredible Honeymoon Lunar Suite, a beautifully designed and private space that elevated the entire experience. We cannot wait to share more about this suite tomorrow. STAY ON WATER is a must-try in Johannesburg and perfect for a romantic date night, a milestone achievement, an anniversary, or just a celebration of life.
