@thenailbabeee: It sounded like it was directly aimed at her because she is the only one making this specific content (testing known harmful products on herself to be a safety guide) , but the general statement stands because as we see on social media when one person does something, many will follow. I originally didn’t tag her because if you don’t know who I’m talking about, then you won’t know and I didn’t want people to flood her page with hate. @☆ 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐄 ☆ @☆ 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐄 ☆
your video didn’t sound mean at all i’m so confused

Taking a stance with your followers and choosing to not align yourself anymore with her is totally fine, and the underlying message behind everything makes sense. I think it was just disappointing for everyone to see, (including her) because any valid frustrations beside, it wasn’t a kind post. That doesn’t mean everything you make has to be kind, but the reactions and comments towards her and others were unnecessary. We don’t have a duty to be girls girls all the time, but we do have a duty to be a community with each other because no one else is going to have the backs of nail community members except for nail community members. Your followers look up to you, even if you have to step back from creators or brands, but how you do it makes an impact on your audience. I feel like I’ve learned more from your videos than I did in nail school, and I hope I can continue to learn from your work and artistry without personal feelings clouding our messages.

I like both of you girls but I do feel like there was no need for any attacks… you think she’s copying you but in really there’s other people before you doing the same thing. This is social media. Idk I feel like sometimes you like the whole drama. You could have easily let go.

Your video definitely went over a lot of people’s heads. The point wasn’t to be a “mean girl” or attack anyone personally it was talking about education and viewer safety. When a creator openly has an acrylate allergy and talks about certain products “working for them” even with a small disclaimer in the caption, a lot of viewers are still going to take that as reassurance that it could be okay for them too.
The video was basically trying to break down why that can be dangerous because acrylate allergies are not one-size-fits-all. Just because someone can tolerate certain exposure doesn’t mean another person will react the same way. That’s why wording and delivery matter so much when you’re educating people online, especially in the nail industry.

I like you both so much and follow you both. But if I’m honest I know you both are in the same/similar content category but as a viewer of you both I wouldn’t say that anything she does or believes that you must also and vice versa. So from my perspective I don’t think you needed to make a video about not agreeing with her I think it’s obvious as you aren’t testing products on yourself. Dang I’m super sad though that there’s friction as I LOVED that you guys seemed friendly and would comment on each others post. It felt like a little community :(. I hope you both can talk offline and maybe get back to being content creator friends. This was so not on my bingo card for 2026 :( putting out positive vibes for you both ❤️

I literally watched it and agreed with every single second. Never took a second to think you were attacking other creators…I’m sorry it got to this girl you deserve more. I love your work and all your content! Especially the educating you do. Never stop.🫶

when I saw the protein bond claim I said ok thats just too much lol nit because I use it but because Young nails has been in the business for so long and I know they take pride in their products as an instructor I HATE the fear mongering and how now EVERYTHING is bad

idk what people are really talking about. when I watched the video originally it sounded like a general PSA. I think people are just creating drama because their bored or it's her followers just coming after you after she made a video about you.
