This technically isn’t on the developers… if they wanted to I bed they could add much better damage however it’s the car company’s. Most companies feel that a damaged car is bad for branding. It’s a reason rolls Royce is not in the game because they can’t have dirt on them. Each company is different with their standards.

It's the fault of the car manufacturers.... they won't licence the cars unless they have an unrealistic "minimal damage". Game developers want real damage too!
