@more.thananumber: Florence Rosette Citroen was born on August 19th 1939, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She was the daughter of Jacoba and Marcus Abraham Citroen. Florence was Jewish. She lived at Plantage Middenlaan 72 huis, Amsterdam, with her parents, grandparents and aunt. In 1940, the Netherlands were invaded. Florence went into hiding alone in Eindhoven. She lived at Pasteurlaan 73. In 1943, a report was made that she was no longer safe at the adress. At 12:45, a man by the name of Mr. De wit came to pick up Florence and take her to a new hiding place. He picked her up from the Witmond family. However, as soon as he came to pick her up, an SD officer arrested him and Florence. She was deported to Westerbork transit camp on July 10th 1943 were her mother was. They were both put on the next transport. On July 16th 1943, she arrived in Sobibor extermination camp in occupied Poland. Florence was murd*red on arrival with her mother in the gas chambers.
