You don't scan the individual items at check out. You are given a bar code to scan, therefore, you hardly ever wait in line. There isn't a 1 hour timer on express orders. I primarily do express shopping orders because they pay the most, and I have never timed out. I don't scan any perishable items until every other item has been scanned.

My understanding is express is one hour for small orders. Two orders are two hours, depending on the size of the order. Reach out to customer service for further clarification. They are very helpful!

They don’t have a one hour timer. Express is just the fastest option. The size of your order and how far you are from the store will determine how long Walmart says express will take to get to you. Also on the spark app when it says express it either the true express or the less than 3 hour option they both come up as express for the shopper
