Replace the bad spots for now and save up to replace the whole thing in a year or two. Homeownership sucks and is expensive and stressful but at least you have a warm bed at night

What is the price difference? In this economy sometimes you can only do the part you can do. Save it, as best you can manage.

For resale vale. You should start new. However Thats probably 1000, and gas aint getting no cheaper anytime soon. But you also probably have more rot back there. Hate to just do half now and by July have to do the other half. If you need help with it let me know. I have built my own legal and permitted house on an island off Coco beach intercostal waterway.
