Ad I’m so proud of this. I love a festive wreath but wanted to add in fresh cut flowers. And what better than one of my favourite flowers, Hydrangeas, withtheir mass of wondrous colours and delicate petals – the perfect flower for my flower wreath. I love how Hydrangeas look so good fresh, but also as this wreath dries it will continue to give endless beauty and pleasure to me and guests visiting over this festive period ❄️ I had fun demonstrating how to make flower wreaths hosting a recent festive workshop, Blooms & Baubles, for @funnyhowflowersdothat and saw firsthand how much joy flowers bring to people🎄 It’s super easy; start with cable tying each Hydrangea head to a hoop (snip the heads to the desired size using secateurs). Select a range of colours from dusky purple right through to red and blue. Next, wedge in some Thistles (these naturally hold in place really well thanks to the thick Hydrangeas already attached as a base). I wanted quite a muted palette but you could add more variety of flowers which dry nicely, the possibilities are endless. Other flowers and foliage which dry beautifully are: ‘Statice’, ‘Cornflowers’ and  ‘Ruscus’ 🥰🌸🌺🌼💐  As you all know, I love to hang things and after making these, I wanted to use one hung up above a table to make my very own floral chandelier with baubles filled with dried Hydrangeas too. On the table, I laid the other ring surrounding candles and I think it ended up being very successful and I love the final result. #FunnyHowFlowersDoThat #BloomsAndBaubles #DIYWreath #FestiveFlowers #Festive #HydrangeaWreath #Hydrangea #ChristmasWreath #TableDecor #TableCenterpiece
