@angiemeeker: Follow if this is you, too. 12 moves. 11 schools. All before high school (and we moved another three during high school). Even after high school and college, my friends called my Tumbleweed because I chose to move around so much, trying to find a place to settle down. I went from Ohio, to Oklahoma, to Texas, to South Carolina, back to Ohio, California, Iraq, Ohio… and have been here now for almost 20 years. I can’t imagine what it’s like for my daughter to know that HOME is always in the same place, with the same people, but I’m so glad she does. I think it makes her even MORE confident to go and explore, knowing that all roads lead home if she wants them to. What about you?
