@cookinwithtrina: Shrimp fried cabbage 🥬 🦐🥓 (I forgot to show where I stirred in 1/4 cup of granulated sugar before 1 put the lid on. This is optional or you can use less) Ingredients: 1/2 lb bacon of your choice 1/2 lb sausage of your choice 1 Ib shrimp (large or jumbo, your preference) 1/3 of A red bell pepper 1/3 of A yellow or orange bell pepper 3 TBSP unsalted butter 1/2 cup chicken broth 2-4 TBSP granulated sugar Seasonings used were: (season to taste but start with these measurements below) 1 tsp lawrys seasoning salt 1 tsp slap ya mama 1 tsp old bay 1 tsp black pepper 2 tsp each of garlic & onion powder 2 TBSP paprika (for your desired color! Gives a nice vibrant color) Once seasoned add in sausage, bacon, bell peppers & chicken broth and cook on a medium heat for 15-20 mins or until at your desired tenderness/consistency then cut off heat and stir in the cooked shrimp. Let sit for a few mins with lid on then serve! Pairs great with rice, baked or fried chicken & corn bread! Enjoy ♥️
