In our area, difficult to find a home that's NOT in a HOA. We selected an area with more minimal covenants. That said, I'm now the VP of our HOA - wanted to be part of the solution, not the problem. we recently added 2 new members. among the notes for them: we are not the council of Karens. I have always thought the HOA was more one sided, in favor of your neighbors. Which should be considered a conflict of interests when trying to solve certain issues with your neighbors. You certainly did do your homework on this issue, good for you. You better be careful or they’ll try to fine you for having a dressed up goose on your porch😂😂
