Question, I’m planning to pick up travel contacts for first time, what do you recommend when it comes to housing? Do you book air bnbs or hotels? Just wondering since an apartment is normally a longer lease than the assignment if that makes sense. Thanks 😩😄

How much was your actual take home after the expenses from duplicating living? That’s my question for this stuff. Did they reimburse you based on what you already spent for your place? Or was it a set price that they give you no matter what and you can find somewhere cheaper?

Med Lab Tech’s are so completely underpaid compared to all the other healthcare professionals with degrees and a board license. I never made this much on any assignment. The last contract I worked, my taxable income was only $18.

did it for 3 years as a travel nurse. Hard to save money with double expensive and the rent at home has to be market price (cant be $500 to a friend). it was fun! i dont regret it. Stay staff in CA and making more than when i was a traveler.
