I think that it’s important to understand you don’t need to meet perfect friends. There’s an expression that inconvenience is the cost of community. I think younger people have gotten so good at intellectualising their feelings and understanding themselves and their triggers that we lose the ability to take people at face value. It would be so nice to see you get out there and even just have someone to book store with, even if that person doesn’t fit into other areas of your life. I think it would be healthy.
