it’s hard to let go, but honestly once I realized how much I attributed my own worth to her value of me and our relationship, I stopped missing her. it’s obviously still saddening, but she made me super self conscious and insecure throughout our relationship, which caused a lot of problems and mistakes made on my end as well. all this to say, you’re allowed to be sad, you’re allowed to not know how to let go, but once you realize what love for yourself is meant to look like and how much value you put on someone else’s opinion of you, it’s easy

In reality love does indeed hurt, "dont change yourself for anyone" shouldnt be a saying for love because if you teally do love some one youll motivate them to change for the better and not only should they change, you should change to show your love. Love isnt something you just feel its something that is shown and in that cycle of change it will hurt but you should ask youself, Is the change worth it?

Yes it does, love will always hurt because real love is raw new emotions. You both are adapting and learning to love each other the right way. New things with such heavy feelings will never be easy. The more you learn the easier it gets, if your relationship is stressful or painful it may not be all bad, could just be 2 young people breaking the toxicity cycles and learn how to love and HANDLE receiving real love. If you love someone deeply then you will have fear and overwhelming thoughts that may take over your emotions, that’s why you learn each other and learn to communicate. You have to know the difference from toxicity and changing unexpectedly. If love hurts, That may just be your biggest sign that what you’re feeling is real.🙏
