Put in a sandpit full it with play sand - give her a designated area to dig. Worked for my pups.

She's probably hot . She digs a hole to sit in the cool dirt . Try getting her a small swimming pool to get wet to cool off and put in shade if possible. Labs love the water. Hope it helps .

She's bored, she needs toys to play with.My dad passed away a couple of years ago and he had lots of boat buoys so they are now her toys and it has helped occupy her and she's not digging as much.Plus my dog is spayed.

If nothing works, just let her dig and just go get a pick up load of topsoil to fill it in . It might save money in the long run .
