Life hack— get a knee high sock, fill with rice, microwave for about 45 sec at a time. Stays HOT, no chance of it overheating cause you forgot to turn off or unplug the pad, and you can make multiple to lay over front and back. I’ve even knotted two together so I can lay on my side and they still sit right. They usually have a 1-2 year lifespan before I have to replace :)
