i see your vision with all of nikki’s wardrobe, but the dinner scene was the most striking to me. it definitely reads as her trying to be bear’s ideal girl and to fit the role he wants her to play, especially with the B necklace already. the matching/similar colors shows their synchronicity (before the phone call shifts everything) and the beige is like the lull they’ve fallen into as bear’s gotten accustomed to this nikki & their relationship

I agree about peeks of undershirts, straps, uneven socks, etc. I think it’s immersive in media bc it makes things feel like a capturing of organic material instead of something overly polished that looks overtly curated!
