This hit me in a way I didn't expect. This song is embedded deep in my church kid core, and as an exvangelical gay man, I've had to listen to a lot of my old favorite songs ironically, if at all. I never thought I'd be tearing up at hearing it re-recorded as queer joy in my 30s.
