@1bens.motovlogs: Growing up in extreme poverty without running water or electricity, Dolly and her 11 siblings were raised by their parents, Robert Lee and Avie Lee Parton.#fyp #fypシ #foryoupage #dollyparton #dollywood
ALSO everyone forgets, there were not 12 little children at a time, some grew up and moved out before others were even born, there were probably at most 6 kids living at a time ( which is still a lot) I think the oldest and youngest of dollys is like 21 years old

Moms That Get It :
My grandma was one of 14. No running water or bathroom. They had an outhouse in the back. One room home in rural Indiana. She had left school in the 8th grade and never finished. Ended up leaving Indiana and going to Michigan where she built a beautiful life for herself and her family. The best person I know. ✨😭

My papaw was raised in a similar home in a holler in Kentucky with NO ROADS. You literally have to drive about a mile down a creek til you reach the house and there was no running water or electricity. The house is still there and we have family reunions every year but you can't enter the home. It's crumbling from the inside. The town is even a ghost town. Creelsboro, Kentucky.

I love that she’s never forgotten where she comes from. She continues to give back to communities and help the less fortunate. 🥹
