it's cuz your brain fills in what they are feeling and the movements they are making in-between frames, when something is complete it leaves nothing to the imagination so it hits or misses the mark.

its because of the style of the animation, they use premade models and move it to animate, so it always looks rigid. That style of animation can work sometimes (like in mlp) but the frame by frame animation will always look better to me
