@financein90s: MICRON UPDATE: 💸 Currently up $115,000 on my Micron Position. EDIT* as of 5/15 up $104K now😮‍💨 🧑‍💻I bought a significant portion of my micron holdings at $100 a share back in 2024. I added after their Q1 earnings report at $260. Then doubled down after their Q2 earnings at $440. 😰 But I’m more scared about the price than ever before. 🔎 Before the historic run-up, the bet was the Market was underpricing the fundamentals of the business and discounting the memory supercycle that was signaled by Micron’s management, their competitors, and the rest of the industry. 📝 This is still part of the bet, but **much less so now.** I don’t doubt that memory will remain in short supply for the near future, but the price and valuation of Micron Stock is no longer reflecting this “secret”. Expectations are elevated and risks still remain. Betting on Wall Street to re-rate the multiple to a more premium valuation is much more uncertain and speculative. 🤥 Don’t fall into FOMO. Do your research, assess your risk tolerance, and understand both the upside and downside of an investment before rushing in. In my view, the risk/reward isn’t nearly as favorable as it once was at $7-800 unless their next earnings gives us a huge surprise - which is much less likely now. #investing #stockmarket #micron
