@spokenblackgirlmag: I can't believe this journey I've been on for so long finally came to a close. All I can say is "thank you" to everyone who contributed to a wonderful MFA experience from my professors to my cohort members. You all made this experience so worthwhile. I can't believe I've finally earned my Master of Fine Arts degree, 13 years after I graduated with my BA, 2 kids later, with so many twists and turns on my search to find a program that was right for me.
