It's worth praising Toriyama's masterful visual storytelling in the scene where Vegeta stands on higher ground, as opposed to Goku who has footing at lower altitude, metaphorically communicating the class differences between the pair. Vegeta the saiyan elite, born as the Crème de la crème of a warrior race, presenting his socially hierarchical superiority to Goku whereas Goku is down at the bottom, genetically less gifted, staring up at someone who outranks him biologically and perhaps in power. That combined with the clothes they wear, Vegeta with this elaborate armour a fitting testament to his opulency and Goku with the "poorer" fabric.

Nappa has reached his peak. Saiyans never used to train, so vegeta had no use for him. The fight with kakarot showed him that training can elevate a Saiyan beyond his initial potential. It’s great story telling about how the Saiyans operated back in the day

Kaiō-ken = Kaiō's technique/Lord of World's technique. It's easier to get with other translations since they just call the Lord of World "Kaiō-sama" or "King Kai" in the English dub
