Hi I got mine from walk easy . com. I got the 495 crutches and the tips that came with those are great. They also have different kinds of tips for different situations.

I was going to say I use Walk Easy, but I use the 495s. There are also different crutch tips on the Walk Easy website than the ones that come on the crutches, and I might try those next time to see if they last longer. You might have had 490s (I’m only saying that because I know that model had a lot of so many awesome color options), and the website says the alternative model for those could be the 480s with their F04 Neoprene Grip Covers added. I personally like my 495s, but I do wish they offered as many colors as they did when they carried the 490 crutches. I also like that with Walk Easy crutches, you can go on the website and buy replacement parts instead of having to buy completely new crutches. For example, if I needed a new cuff for my 495 pair, I could select the cuff and the matching color for my crutches, and they would send me that specific part. I wish I had other suggestions, but so far I have only tried the Walk Easy 495

You need weather resistant tips. But yes you may need a different type of crutch. I use those ones and they a lil wobbly. But I’ve seen other kinds

I don’t have crutch recommendations due to my son now using a wheelchair. The only recommendation is have you ever heard of Tornado tips?

I use healthbazar forearm crutches they adjust with a key so they will never squeak and they have magnetic handles so there easy to attach to things when sitting at a restaurant etc. I think they only come in black though.
