When does the AUDHD tax return season start? I should be expecting a hefty return on what I've paid in this year alone! All jokes aside though, you know you're not alone in this one, it's all good man. Ruminating be a mofo sometimes though so get up and out of your head. I physically move from where I'm at when this happens and do something that requires my full attention AND talk myself through it 🤣

my wife will essentially define the size of the answer she is willing to accept. like sometimes on long walks she will ask a question and clear me for verbosity++ level of response just to I steam my thoughts for the entire walk.

Ooo I do this almost daily, sadly…. with those around me and the I tell myself moments later “this is why I don’t talk. Meanwhile I’m still having whole convos in my head and replaying cringe moments. I’m still adjusting to my newly ADHD diagnosis 🙁

Today my partner answered a question with a paragraph that never actually answered the question. Multiple times. In the end, the correct answers were yes, 4 and yes. Most likely both audhd, and it was a taxing day.

I have trained myself to where certain "simple" questions trigger a keyword-based subroutine that automatically sends a clarifying query of "how detailed of an answer are you looking for?" as a reply.
