The internet glamorizes K-pop diets. So I tried one myself, and the ending surprised me. Women are constantly being told we need to eat a certain way to look a certain way. Whether it’s a celebrity diet, a K-pop diet, or the latest trend on social media, the message is often the same: smaller is better. But health isn’t about chasing someone else’s body. It’s about building a relationship with food that allows you to nourish yourself, fuel yourself, and enjoy your life. It’s easy to see someone’s body online and assume their diet is the reason they look the way they do. But health is so much bigger than a number on a scale, a meal plan, or a trend circulating on social media. he truth is, we have to eat. Food isn’t something we should fear. It’s something that allows us to live, move, think, grow, and show up as our best selves. And if you ever find yourself feeling like you need to constantly restrict, control, or limit your food intake to be worthy, beautiful, or accepted, I want to encourage you to talk to someone. A therapist, a counselor, or a qualified professional who can help you process those emotions and develop a healthier relationship with food and your body. So while trying these diets can be interesting and sometimes even entertaining, my goal is never to tell you to eat like a celebrity or look like someone else. My goal is to help you build a healthier relationship with yourself. Because you’re worth so much more than a number on a scale. #kpop #diet
