My guy has friends from Chicago. Tavern style and thin crust! Can I ask what’s the restaurant? We do love deep dish and normal tavern, but you specifically ask for thin tavern leading me to believe you had inside knowledge.

oh no no no.... come out to the suburbs!!! Joe's pizza in Wheeling has the best thin crust around!!! Nino's pizza in Buffalo Grove the best stuffed pizza!!!

Lou Malnati’s is the pizza you need to get. Make sure and get pepperoni and sausage. They make the sausage in house.

Grew up in Chicago - we ate Thin Crust pizza cut in squares on a regular basis ( never called it "Tavern") Only ate Deep Dish once in a while
