@itscourtneydow: I learnt this hack a few years ago and it was a cleaning game changer. There’s nothing worse than trying to clean fans with bits of dust falling down on beds or living spaces. Yuck. Here’s what you need to do: - Grab an old pillowcase - Slip it over each blade so the blade sits inside the pillowcase - Slowly slide the pillowcase back off, pressing the fabric against both sides of the blade as you pull - The dust gets trapped inside the pillowcase instead of raining down on everything below (YAY!) - Repeat for each blade, then take the pillowcase outside and shake it out and toss it straight in the wash - if there is any grimey buildup you can follow it by spraying cleaning spray on a micro fibre cloth and giving the blades a quick wipe down
