@amanda__.please: I used my regular sugar Cookie recipe (I’ll put it below) but I added a tablespoon of custard powder as some of you guys suggested to do this. tbh I didn’t really notice too much of a difference in the final product… maybe I need to add more? They were really yummy though. Ingredients: 100’s & 1000’s Cookies: 200g butter, room temp 1 cup caster sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 egg 2½ cups plain flour 1 tablespoon of custard powder Icing: 2 cups icing sugar 3 tablespoons milk 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup (or vanilla extract if preferred) 2 drops pink food colouring Sprinkles/ Hundreds & thousands (for decorating) Method: Preheat oven to 180°C and line trays. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg, beat again. Add flour and mix just until combined. Roll out dough and cut into rounds. Chill on tray in fridge for 10-15 minutes. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until lightly golden on the edges. Cool completely. Icing: Mix icing sugar, milk, vanilla and food colouring until smooth. Spread a thin layer over cookies. Dip into the 100’s and 1000’s before the icing sets. #asmrcooking #easybaking #EasyRecipe #biscuits
If someone made these for me I would be very happy 😊

I think more than 1 tablespoon custard powder for that quantity of regular flour would be more noticeable. In any case, custard powder introduces some corn flour to the dough so this affects the texture as well as the vanilla flavoring. The bikkies look really noice! 👏😁
