@hiyaimalex: Some more beauty blindspots because apparently I have a few! These are makeup, skincare and hair care items that are well loved and viral that I’ve managed to refrain from buying and trying. Does that need to change though?! #blindspots #viralmakeup #deinfluencing #overhyped #hudabeauty @Fenty Beauty @Haus Labs @Huda Beauty @Diorbeauty @Summer Fridays @Olehenriksen @haruharu wonder @K18 Hair UK @Tatcha
I can deinfluence the k18. I genuinely don't get it, it doesn't do anything at all. I've followed instructions, not followed instructions and can't get it to work at all.

I tried the mini huda beauty powder and I love it. I’m absolutely to buy the full size. However the mini has lasted me 5 months if that helps x

The K18 is a game changer. You don’t need much, so that makes the price point less horrible because it lasts so much longer than the cheaper ones. I feel like it doesn’t dry my hair out as much and really works at keeping the oil away, rather than just kind of soaking into it - if that makes sense. I hate that I hate it so much haha

K18 is also not really innovative. Got2be has the same product at a much cheaper price!

I'm not keen on the tatcha cream. It has a mild lavender smell and I really don't like scented face products.

Please please please try the huda beauty powder theres a reason why nothing has dethroned it ever since its comeout and everyone keeps going back to it. Also the price isnt that bad and mine has lasted me over a year

The tatcha lasts such a long time as you only need a little amount. It’s one of the only creams I can see a difference in the morning when putting it on at night. Well worth it and I’m tight

The Tatcha cream is absolutely worth the hype & £. I’m on my 3rd repurchase, it lasts for ages. I also recommend the Clomana Soft Skin cream as an alternative, still spenny but works equally as good.

The Huda beauty powder is amazing. I only use a light layer (I’ve never baked) and it looks so good. I’m 36 and powders can make my under eyes look crepy but never the Huda! The mini will last you ages if you want to try x

The Tatcha Dewey Cream is the one product I would keep if I could only have one item for skincare. I don’t know what magic is in it, but my skin loves it!

Unfortunately k18 is incredible. I get sensory issues and I can only wash my hair once a week. I can use k18 and I can’t feel it in my hair, where if h use dry shampoo it makes my scalp itchy and it needs to be washed the next day . Plus I only use like three sprays for my whole head so it will last forever

The Tatcha is RICH. For me it’s not worth it, doesn’t feel like it actually sinks into my skin and just leaves a film on top of it.

I’ve tried the Tom ford duo in store and the texture is weird it’s dry like it will be uneaven and patchy but greasy as well

I love the Huda Beauty powder, it’s my holy grail now that Givenchy has reformulated. I would give it a try sooner rather than later cos they might also reformulate soon given the ban on talc. I’m already stocking up. 🙈

Fenty’s skin tint stick is really good for light coverage, it lasts and it goes on like butter. Be weary of the potential oxidisation though. And their hydrating concealers are also really good with an extensive range of undertones. Idk what is in that Tatcha moisturiser but it made my sensitive skin burn.

I love the Huda powder but honestly, the new packaging is so horrible I can’t buy it again. It the messiest powder now because of it. I can’t figure out how to not make a mess every time.

If you end up liking the haus labs blush sticks, you will LOVE their powder. I have the peach ‘pomelo’ shade and it’s a stunner. Also literally one swipe with my brush is all it takes for both cheeks 😳 I’ve had it since it launched and the embossed ‘H’ is still visible— that’s how pigmented it is!! She’s that girl, truly!

I absolutely love the Dior lip oil, especially the old design, but the new one is nice too. Just don't go with glitter because you can feel it on your lips -- sad because it's beautiful. Also, the Fenty foundation you have pictured is beautiful and truly cool toned for me... that's hard to find because nearly everything pulls orange on me. Their Eaze Drop skin tint is absolutely stunning as well (it's missing SPF, which would increase my use of it because I prefer one step over two).

As a really oily hair girl…. K18 dry shampoo is one step in my dry shampoo routine, good for volume, but I feel like I have to use a lot (there is a lot in the bottle). k18 in combo with a powder dry shampoo is perfect

as a former sephora employee, the soft lit foundation from fenty is INCREDIBLE!! i’m in my 4th bottle, it never gets cakey, it’s got a wonderful shade range (i’m very fair and most brands don’t have a light enough shade), it doesn’t separate with sweat, it can work like a tint or be built up into a medium coverage product! it’s a game changer for me
