Mat Contractors & Designs Co. :
engineer's version:
a room of (12×12)fts to m² is 12ft ÷3.3 = 3.6363 then find area of the room,LxW
;3.63 ×3.63= approx 13.2m².
then convert 13.2 m² to boxes,
13.2÷1.92(coverages of 1 box "40*40" in m²) =6.875 approx. 7 boxes, add at least 20-25% for skirting and possible damages .
7+20%(7)= approx 8.5 boxes to "very simple" .
another thing, mathematically, any number after a decimal point is pronounced as an independent number eg 3.63 is not three point sixty three 😟😏it's three point six three.

DAMASCUS :
in simple terms a box of 40*40 covers 1.92sq mtr, so just get total square mtrs of a room and devide by 1.92 you get a number of boxes needed the same thing just get total square feet of the room and devide by the total square feet covered by one box without converting
