The cop becomes the criminal! I think anyone can see the guy is recording because he wants to record! When the cop asks for a reason he crosses the line because the guy doesn’t need a reason. He can do it because he wants to and the officer already knows he can and some phone call doesn’t change it. A phone call isn’t an unwritten law.
