Not my experience, but my mom’s aunt used to have this garden competition and she’d win every year. My mom asked her what she did to have such a beautiful garden, and she said everyday she’d sing to her flowers and trees. She would even cry when a flower would die. She would say things like, “I have such beautiful flowers” “my flowers are the prettiest of them all” “my garden is so beautiful and healthy” and she’d win every year !! 😭 It’s so sweet
